English Garden Wedding at Lainston House
Amy and Jonny had their Lainston House wedding on an absolutely gorgeous spring day in May. We couldn’t have planned for better weather! Lavender roses and blooming wisteria made for the perfect garden backdrop. Amy’s fondness for ornithology and her quirky sense of humour were put on display at the reception. Each table number was cleverly marked with a different groups of birds, all of them a bit cheekily labeled. There was the table of owls, called “hooters”, a table marked with the species of sea birds called “boobies”, and among others were the “peckers”, “cocks”, and “beavers”. Every time I’d look up, one of them had me bending over in stitches while photographing the reception details. Scroll down to the middle of the gallery to see them!
Be sure and slowly make your way through, so as not to miss the breathtaking Amy getting ready with her stunning veil, and Harriet Wilde heels! To die for!!!
When Carley of Thursday’s Child Photography needed a second photographer to capture Amy and Jonny’s day, I’m so glad I said yes! Thank you, Carley, for allowing me to tag team this wedding with you. It was such a beautiful day and I was so thankful to photograph it along side a friend!
